ISLAMABAD, Dec 08 ( Asia Free Press): Pakistan beats Bangladesh by an innings and eight runs on Wednesday’s final day of the rain-hit second Test at Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka and concluded the two-test series unbeaten.
Before declaring, Pakistan scored 300-4 in their first innings on day four. With the splendid bowling figure of the newly included spinner Sajid Khan, Bangladesh, was all-out for 87 runs in the first inning. Sajid Khan took eight wickets for only 42 runs.
On day five, the home side started their incomplete first innings, but in a little while, they were all-out for 87 runs and faced follow-on in their second inning.
In an exceptional performance, Sajid Khan took four wickets. Bangladesh was again all-out for 205 runs in their second inning and lost the match by an innings and eight-runs.
From the Pakistan side, Sajid Khan was the absolute star of the show as he totaled 12-wickets in the match and got his first man of the match award in this kind of cricket. Abid Ali, the batter from the touring side, won the man of the series award; he scored 263 runs, the highest in the test series.

Earlier, Pakistan won the first Test in Chittagong by eight wickets. They also finished the tour unbeaten, winning the preceding three-match T20 series by 3-0.
