On 8 June 2026, intelligence reports were received regarding the presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy “Fitna al Hindustan” in the Naal area of District Basima. The terrorists were reportedly planning to attack a nearby police station and banks in the area. Upon receipt of the information, swift action was taken by security forces and an intelligence-based operation was launched to thwart their nefarious designs.
During the operation, the movement of terrorists was checked and they were effectively engaged by the security forces. After an intense exchange of fire, fourteen Indian-sponsored terrorists were sent to hell, while multiple terrorists were injured.
In addition, four vehicles being used by the terrorists and improvised explosive devices were destroyed on the spot.
During the fierce exchange of fire, one brave son of the soil, Lance Havildar Muhammad Abbass, fought gallantly and embraced martyrdom.
