KABUL (BNA): Several tribal elders, scholars, and Mujahideen, in a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, called for the acceleration of efforts for strengthening the bridge between the nation and the government.
According to a statement released by the Deputy Prime office, several scholars, tribal elders, and Mujahiden from Kabul, Baghlan, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Laghman, Parwan, Kandahar, Takhar, Samangan, Panjshir, Bamyan, Ghazni, Kunduz, Maidan Wardak and Badakhshan provinces met with Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs.
The government and the nation should be in close cooperation and the demands of the public should be addressed, the scholars and elders said.
They also submitted suggestions for addressing their challenges in written forms to the Deputy Prime Minister and asked him to pay attention in this regard, the statement added.
Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister, expressed his gratitude to these tribal elders for their support for the Islamic Emirate.
He said that protecting national interests and strengthening the economy is the policy priority of the Islamic Emirate. The nation should be sure that as there is a significant improvement in the security sector, it also works in the fields of economic and political progress.
The struggle and victory of the Afghan nation against occupation proved unity, and solidarity, cooperation between them, he said.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir stated that the challenges of the people would be taken into account to find solutions to them.
