KABUL (BNA): The Chinese Ambassador, Zhao Sheng, and the Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, met in Kabul to discuss various issues including bilateral ties.
They talked about bilateral relations, security, economic issues, and recent regional developments.
The Acting Minister expressed satisfactionwitht his recent visit to China and the outcomes of the talks with the Chinese authorities.
He said the relations between the Afghan government and China are strengthening.
The Chinese ambassador also expressed his positive view of the relations with Afghanistan and his interest in further enhancing ties. The meeting also addressed the issue of forced deportation of Afghan refugees from Pakistan.
The Chinese ambassador hoped for timely solutions and offered China’s assistance.
