DHAKA, Oct 12 (Asia Free Press): Bangladesh strongly condemns the Houthi bomb-laden drone attack, which targeted King Abdullah Airport in Jazan, Saudi Arabia, on 8th October, injuring civilians, including few Bangladeshi workers, the state-run media reported.
In a statement, Bangladesh’s foreign ministry said, “Such attacks are a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, moral values and completely unacceptable”.
Bangladesh has expressed its grave concerns over the increasing Houthi militia attacks on Saudi Arabia, undermining the ongoing peace initiatives.
Dhaka has urged for a peaceful resolution of the Yemen conflict and expressed its solidarity with the Saudi Arabian government and its brotherly people in condemning such irresponsible activities.
The Bangladesh government has asked its Embassy in Riyadh to look after the Bangladeshi citizens injured in the latest Houthi attack and provide the necessary support to them, reported BSS.
Ten people were injured in two explosives-laden drone attacks at King Abdullah airport in the southern Saudi city of Jizan late on Friday 8th October.
