Islamabad, Dec 13, (Asia Free Press) Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has claimed that some forces are trying to create unrest in Pakistan to fulfil their geo-strategic and geo-political agenda.
Qureshi said these forces are against peace, stability, economic viability and prosperity in Pakistan while addressing a conference in Multan, reported by a state-run Radio Pakistan.
“Pakistan is working on the agenda of regional connectivity to overcome energy crisis, improving trade between regional countries, create job opportunities in Pakistan and regional market and bring investment in the country”, Qureshi further added.
In addition, he asserted, “Pakistan wants stability and durable peace in Afghanistan and regional countries”.
“On the desire of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, foreign office called the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFMs) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC ) on 19th of this month in Islamabad”, he further said.
He said the agenda of the meeting is to discuss the prevailing and critical situation in Afghanistan and find out tangible ways to help Afghan people in this challenging time.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Kashmiris and Palestinians have been under oppression and hostility for 7 decades and prayed to Almighty Allah for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine and an end to brutalities against these Muslims.
