MOSCOW, Oct 15 (Asia Free Press): The United States will always find a reason to blame, attack, or demonize a rising China, said British writer Tom Fowdy in an article published by Russian broadcaster RT recently.
Tom wrote an opinion piece with a header, ‘So China’s peaked and is now in decline? The west is engaging in wishful thinking if it believes Beijing’s rise is over.
“The blindingly obvious geopolitical reality is that America will not accept a rival power” that weakens its Pax-Americana unipolar control since 1991, Fowdy, a political and international relations analyst with a primary focus on East Asia, stated.
“It is not a surprise, therefore, that the United States has accordingly sought to demonize China and enlist allies against it, and subsequently uses Beijing’s retaliation to this process as further cause to demonize it,” said the article
He mentioned that analysis posted in two influential American publications argues that China is on the wane due to its economy slowing down and facing pressure from the west. Tom termed that fallacious nonsense rooted in ideological bias and fear.
