KABUL(BNA): Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, head of the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA) met with Japanese Ambassador Takayoshi Kurumiya in Kabul today, Sunday to discuss humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan.
During the meeting, Ambassador Kurumiya expressed condolences for the victims of the recent earthquake in Afghanistan and reaffirmed Japan’s commitment to providing ongoing assistance. He emphasized that Japan will continue to support earthquake victims in alignment with the strong ties of friendship between the two nations.
In response, Mullah Nooruddin Turabi expressed appreciation for Japan’s support and requested increased assistance and cooperation in addressing the humanitarian needs of the affected communities.
