Islamabad, Nov 8, (Asia Free Press): In a phone conversation, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Central Intelligence Agency Director William Burns discussed bilateral ties and cybersecurity, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
In a press release, Peskov said that “both sides covered bilateral relations, the crisis situation in diplomatic relations, and exchanged views on regional conflicts.”
On Nov. 2 and 3, a high-ranking U.S. delegation led by Burns was in Russia.
The CIA director earlier met with the Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolay Patrushev on Nov. 2 to discuss bilateral relations between Russia and the United States.
During a meeting with Sergey Naryshkin, head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SRV), on Nov. 3, Secretary of State John Kerry discussed about the fight against international terrorism and interdepartmental cooperation.
