KABUL(BNA): Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, acting minister for refugees and repatriation, met with senior officials of the Islamic Emirate, religious scholars, tribal leaders, and former mujahideen to discuss Afghanistan’s security and development.
In a statement from the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation, attendees praised the peaceful Eid celebrations nationwide, attributing the stability to what they described as the “results of the Islamic system” and the efforts of the Islamic Emirate.
Participants commended the administration’s progress across sectors and acknowledged security forces’ role in maintaining order. Mawlavi Abdul Kabir stated the Islamic Emirate is “working as a responsible government to secure Afghanistan’s future,” stressing public cooperation as vital for progress.
“Afghanistan’s stability and development are achievements of the Islamic system,” Minister Kabir said, adding that security forces and mujahideen “work tirelessly, with public support, to preserve lasting peace.”
The meeting comes as the Islamic Emirate seeks broader international engagement amid ongoing scrutiny over governance and human rights.
