ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja on Monday arrived in Dubai to represent Pakistan at GITEX 2025 — one of the world’s leading technology exhibitions.
The minister will deliver a keynote address titled “Pakistan’s AI & Connectivity Drive: A Model for Emerging Economies,” highlighting the country’s vision for digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and connectivity.
Shaza is actively engaging in promoting global partnerships and advancing digital innovation through Pakistan’s participation in the event.
During her visit, the IT minister will hold meetings with the UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy, the Advisor to Romania’s Ministry of Economy, and senior officials from the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.
She will also meet the Secretary of Slovenia’s Ministry of Digital Transformation to explore potential cooperation in the technology sector.
The Minister will attend the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Centre for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI) and Kaspersky, aimed at strengthening collaboration in cybersecurity and digital resilience.
