KABUL(BNA): The Public Order Police in Kabul have implemented comprehensive security measures to ensure the safety of citizens during the holy month of Muharram and the observance of Ashura.
Jawid Niazi, spokesperson for the Public Order Police of the Ministry of Interior, announced that these measures have been coordinated with various institutions to ensure smooth and secure observances of Ashura.
Mullah Saleh Mohammad Nazim, Chief of Staff of the Public Order Police, stated that ensuring the security and protection of the people and the nation is a great honor. He urged all Afghan citizens to cooperate with the security forces during this period.
Additionally, Mawlawi Khalil Rahman Zahid, Director of Operations and Planning for the Public Order Police, highlighted that personnel are fully equipped and deployed at all key points across Kabul to enhance security.
The Public Order Police emphasized the importance of public cooperation, urging citizens to report any suspicious activities to the authorities to help maintain peace and security during the holy days of Muharram and Ashura.
Security agencies are dedicated to providing a safe environment for the commemoration of these significant religious events, ensuring the protection and well-being of all participants.
