Muzaffarabad, Nov 10, (Asia Free Press): The OIC Special Envoy for Jammu and Kashmir Yousef Aldobeay accompanied by a delegation including senior diplomats from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Sudan and the Maldives visited the Cheri Kot Sector along the LoC in Pakistan administered Kashmir on Wednesday.
The delegation was briefed on the latest situation of LoC, according to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army’s Public Relations wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to ISPR, the delegation was briefed about the situation before and after the Director-General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan contacted a few weeks ago. The delegation was also briefed on Indian atrocities and humanitarian crisis in the Indian occupied Jammu Kashmir (IOJK). The delegation also interacted with the victims of Indian ceasefire violations and provocations.
Pakistan Army spokesperson said that the OIC delegation had arrived in Muzaffarabad and met with President Azad Jammu Kashmir Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry.
The delegation will also visit refugee camps and technical training centres tomorrow. The delegation is also scheduled to meet the UN Military Observer Group. The delegation will also meet the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and representatives of various parties.
