ISLAMABAD – May 11, 2025 — In one of its most significant and synchronized military actions in recent years, the Pakistan Armed Forces have launched precision strikes on 26 high-value military targets across Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK) and mainland India. The operation, described by DG ISPR as a “textbook execution of multi-domain warfare,” marks a bold and technologically advanced response to recent provocations and violations of Pakistani sovereignty.
The strikes involved coordinated efforts by the Pakistan Army, Air Force, Navy, and Cyber Command, and were carried out in real time with full integration across land, air, sea, and cyberspace. DG ISPR confirm that all selected targets were of strategic military importance, many of which were directly involved in supporting operations against Pakistani civilians and in fostering cross-border terrorism.
Strategic Targets Across Indian Territory:
Among the installations hit were key Indian Air Force bases, including Suratgarh, Sirsa, Bhuj, Naliya, Adampur, Bhatinda, Barnala, Halwara, Awantipora, Srinagar, Jammu, Mamun, Ambala, and Pathankot. Additionally, Pakistan reportedly destroyed BrahMos missile stockpiles in Beas and Nagrota that had been linked to previous attacks on civilian areas.
Significantly, Pakistan’s air force also targeted S-400 air defense systems positioned in Bhuj and Adampur—part of India’s most advanced surface-to-air missile network. Supporting infrastructure, such as a field supply depot in Pardi and a radar station in Poonch, were also among the destroyed assets.
Command Nodes and Intelligence Units Dismantled:
Command and control installations of the 10th and 80th Brigades in Kalitak and Naushera were leveled during the operation. Both brigades had been accused of orchestrating unprovoked cross-border shelling that resulted in civilian casualties. Intelligence units in Rajouri and Naushera, alleged to have been coordinating with proxy elements for terrorist activities inside Pakistan, were also neutralized.
According to DG ISPR, the strikes were carefully planned to minimize collateral damage, with a focus on neutralizing only those installations that posed an immediate threat to Pakistan’s internal security or civilian population.
Cross-LoC Response and Surrender:
Artillery posts across the Line of Control (LoC) that had engaged in recent shelling of Azad Jammu & Kashmir were met with what military officials called “intense and sustained retaliatory fire.” As a result of the overwhelming response, several enemy positions reportedly surrendered, raising white flags.
Drone Superiority and Cyber Offensive:
In a separate but related phase of the operation, Pakistan launched Operation Banyan-ul-Marsus, deploying long-range surveillance drones across major Indian airspace—including over New Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, and down to Gujarat. These drone flights, intended to demonstrate both presence and capability, were aimed at discrediting the psychological impact of recent Indian drone incursions into Pakistani airspace.
In parallel, Pakistan executed full-spectrum cyberattacks that successfully disrupted Indian military communications and infrastructure systems. Sources say these cyber offensives significantly hindered command efficiency and situational awareness on the Indian side.
Measured Response and Strategic Restraint:
Despite the scale and scope of the operation, officials emphasized Pakistan’s policy of strategic restraint. “Several advanced capabilities were deployed with precision,”DG ISPR stated, “but many remain deliberately held back for future contingencies. This was a calibrated and proportionate response.”

Regional Implications:
The strikes are expected to reshape the strategic calculations in the region. Analysts suggest that Pakistan’s show of integrated force sends a clear message about its deterrence posture and readiness to engage across all domains of modern warfare, if required.
