KABUL(BNA):  The Ministry of Information and Culture has announced the results of the “Aqeedah (Doctrinal) Studies” examination, conducted over four and a half months, as part of the 1403 fiscal year curriculum. The Directorate of Invitation and Guidance organized this assessment for hundreds of ministry employees from various departments, with the results being revealed today in an official ceremony.

During the event, Mawlawi Mohammad Yunus Rashid, Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs, spoke about the crucial role of religious guidance in Islamic society, underscoring the esteemed status of scholars. He highlighted that scholars bear the responsibility for fostering spiritual well-being and shaping individuals for a virtuous and purposeful life. “The true purpose of life should be to seek Allah’s satisfaction and to serve humanity,” he stated, emphasizing the dual goals of material and spiritual pursuits.

Mawlawi Haji Mohammad Tayeb, Head of the Directorate of Invitation and Guidance, elaborated on the significance of both worldly and spiritual responsibilities, calling on individuals to follow Islamic principles and prepare for life’s ultimate test. He encouraged everyone to engage in worship and to fulfill their duties in accordance with Islamic law, aiming to achieve divine satisfaction.

In his remarks, Mawlawi Imdadullah Mansoor, Head of Cultural Affairs, touched on Afghanistan’s long history of resistance to foreign ideologies. He praised the Afghan people’s enduring commitment to safeguarding their values and opposing external influences, especially among the youth, who have consistently resisted foreign impositions.

Participants expressed appreciation for the Directorate’s educational initiatives, which they viewed as essential for both personal and societal development. They emphasized that the courses have enriched their understanding of religious and creedal matters.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of awards to several high-achieving participants in recognition of their exceptional performance in the examination.
