SRINAGAR, Dec 13 (Asia Free Press): In Indian administered Kashmir, a bus carrying Indian armed forces personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police on Monday came under an attack in Zewan Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar, resulting in injuries to many of them, according to media reports.
The personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police’s 9th battalion were injured after indigenous armed forces allegedly attacked the bus in Zewan area, Free Press Kashmir.
3 killed and 11 Indian armed forces personnel are said to have sustained injures.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) in a tweet confirmed the attack upon a police vehicle in Srinagar. “14 personnel injured in the attack. All the injured personnel evacuated to hospital. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” JKP tweeted.
Earlier today, two youth were shot dead by Indian forces during indiscriminate firing in the Rangreth area of Srinagar. The identity of youth is yet to be ascertained.
Since October 1, this year, Indian occupying forces killed at least 50 people “extra-judicially” in the valley.
The Indian forces have killed over 100,000 innocent people since in the the only Muslim majority region since 1990.
