KABUL(BNA): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has officially appointed a new military attaché in Iran.
According to the Ministry of National Defense, Haji Mohammad Shafiq has been introduced as Afghanistan’s military attaché in Tehran and has commenced his duties.
This appointment is part of the broader strategy by the leadership of the Ministry of National Defense to strengthen bilateral ties with neighboring countries. The ministry has emphasized that the placement of a military attaché in Iran is a significant step toward enhancing mutual cooperation between the two nations.
