KANDAHAR(BNA): Security officials at the Spin Boldak border have intercepted a significant attempt to smuggle historical artifacts.
In a recent operation, authorities recovered 156 pen works and 13 metal works, all of which are believed to hold considerable cultural and historical value.
The artifacts, which were in the process of being smuggled out of the region, will be handed over to the National Museum of Afghanistan for identification and restoration.
