KABUL(BNA): In a recent statement, Mufti Abdul Matin Qane, spokesman for the Interior Ministry, emphasized that Afghanistan poses no threat to any countries. This declaration came after a special session of the UN Security Council, which addressed regional security concerns.
Qane firmly rejected the apprehensions expressed by several countries regarding potential threats emanating from Afghanistan. He assured that the security situation in the country is unprecedentedly stable, a significant improvement compared to the turmoil experienced over the past few decades.
Highlighting the Islamic Emirate’s governance, Qane stated that the regime maintains “absolute sovereignty” over all Afghanistan territories. He vowed that the government would not permit any individual or group to jeopardize the nation’s security.
In response to recent concerns, Qane acknowledged that some minor disruptive activities have been reported. However, he attributed these incidents to “seditious groups” operating from outside Afghanistan, asserting that the Afghanistan government remains committed to protecting its sovereignty and security.
