KABUL(BNA): The Acting Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, met with Dr. Tajudeen Oyewale, UNICEF Representative in Afghanistan, and his delegation.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Public Health, the meeting, attended by several provincial directors, discussed the evaluation of services provided by implementing organizations, improving the quality of healthcare services, timely delivery of medicines to hospitals, and strengthening Afghanistan’s healthcare system.
Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali stressed the importance of joint standardized monitoring, evaluation, and transparency in services provided by implementing organizations across the provinces. He urged UNICEF officials to ensure the timely delivery of essential medical equipment and medicines to hospitals and to pay greater attention to enhancing the quality of healthcare services.
