President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan officially opened the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum on Friday, April 11, 2025, in Antalya, Türkiye. The event attracted a high-level delegation from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), led by Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha.

Throughout the forum, Secretary-General Taha engaged in a series of meetings with prominent international figures, including UN Under-Secretary-General Philippe Lazzarini, UNRWA Commissioner-General Karim Ahmad Khan, and various heads of participating delegations. Discussions primarily centered on the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, particularly the recent escalation in Gaza, addressing humanitarian, legal, and political concerns.

The forum, held under the theme “Advancing Diplomacy in Times of Turmoil,” convened representatives from 147 countries, including 19 heads of state and 73 foreign ministers. Over 50 panels were organized, covering a range of global issues, with special attention given to the crisis in Gaza.

In his opening remarks, President Erdoğan emphasized the urgency of a unified international response to the Gaza crisis, condemning the ongoing violence and advocating for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum continues to serve as a pivotal platform for global leaders to address pressing international challenges, fostering dialogue and cooperation among nations.
