The Indian Army killed three Kashmiri youths during a military operation in the outskirts of the region’s capital city Srinagar.
Kashmir is the only region in the world with the greatest human tragedy. India’s state sponsored terrorism in the valley has been going on for decades and massacre of Kashmiris has become a daily routine.
The number of Kashmiri youths killed, so far, in a week after the latest Indian Army operation has risen to 12.
It is unfortunate that despite this open terrorism by the Indian state, the world powers and the international community is indifferent. The criminal silence of the international community has encouraged India to unleash more terror on the people of Kashmir.
In order to thwart Indian aggression in the Valley, the United Nations should at least adhere to its adopted resolutions and focus on resolving the Kashmir issue between Pakistan and India immediately.
If the world continues to ignore the plight of the Kashmiri people, the bloodthirsty Indian state will wipe out the Kashmiri population. Therefore, the United Nations and the Security Council, in accordance with their respective resolutions, should immediately resolve this long-standing issue in order to guarantee lasting peace in the region.
