ISLAMABAD, Sep 24, (Asia Free Press): Pakistan on Friday has strongly condemned the extra-judicial killing of three innocent Kashmiris by Indian Occupation Forces in the Indian administered part of Kashmir.
A statement, issued by the foreign ministry, said the Indian forces killed three innocent Kashmiris including a 65 year old man, in Uri sector along the LoC in the “Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K)”
“It is another example of India’s unabated state-terrorism being perpetrated against Kashmiris for decades,” the statement said.
India has repeatedly tried to malign Pakistan by accusing it of aiding the infiltrators, which has been debunked by Pakistan.
Only this year the Indian forces killed over 100 Kashmiris in search operations and extra-judicial killings, according to Kashmir based human rights groups.
“It is high time that India recognizes that no amount of staged-managed mischief and brutal clamp down on Kashmiris can suppress the Kashmiri’s movement to achieve right to self-determination nor would it mislead the world into accepting India’s desperate attempt to portray that as a victim of terrorism,” it added.
“Extrajudicial killings of Kashmiris in farce operations are unabatedly being carried out by the Indian army which has resulted in killings of at least 100 Kashmiris so far this year.”
Rampant human rights violations by India in IIOJK warrant an investigation by a United Nations Commission of Inquiry, as recommended by the OHCHR in its Kashmir reports of 2018 and 2019, the statement concluded.
On Tuesday, a young man Bilal Ahmad was injured during a Cordon and Search Operation in Budgam district.
Another Kashmiri was injured when Indian troops fired at him in Baramulla District on Wednesday, the local media reported.
