KABUL(BNA): Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, met with journalists and cultural figures from various provinces to discuss the enhancement of print and visual media.

In a statement from the ARG, Deputy PM Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi emphasized the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to bolstering media and cultural initiatives across the country.

In the meeting, journalists and cultural representatives expressed their satisfaction with the current security and the support for media and cultural activities under the Islamic Emirate.

They further highlighted the increased opportunities for journalistic work, cultural preservation, protection of historical sites, and promotion of languages within Islamic principles.

They also requested greater support for the publication of works by Afghan poets and writers.

For his part, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi acknowledged the journalists and cultural figures as valuable assets to the nation. He assured them of the Islamic Emirate’s dedication to preserving historical artifacts and enhancing media infrastructure, and pledged efforts to support the publication of literary works.
