The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, received today, Thursday, 27 February 2025, at the General Secretariat headquarters, H.E. Mr. Hadi Shibli, who presented his credentials as Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the OIC. The Secretary-General welcomed the new Permanent Representative, wishing him success in his mandate.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the latest developments in the Palestinian cause as the central issue of the OIC. His Excellency the Secretary-General affirmed the OIC’s continued commitment to supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people in the international arena.
