KABUL(BNA): The Ministry of Education has officially announced the commencement of construction for nine standard schools in Helmand province, with a total investment of 172 million Afghanis.

As per the Ministry’s report, these educational institutions will be constructed with modern infrastructure and financial backing from an educational partner organization. The schools are to be established in the districts of Marjah, Greshk, Babaji, Nawa, Khanashin, Dishu, Bahramcha, Garmsir, and Nahr-e-Seraj.

During the groundbreaking ceremony of one of these schools in Marjah district, officials highlighted the critical role of education in fostering societal progress and national development.

They called on local residents to ensure their children attend schools to benefit from quality education. The residents expressed their gratitude for the Ministry’s dedicated efforts to expand educational services, particularly in remote and underserved regions of the country.
