KABUL (BNA): Sohail Shaheen, the head of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s political office in Doha, announced his meeting with the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Afghanistan.
Shaheen wrote on his X handle that he and Katharina Ritz discussed humanitarian aid, alternative projects for farmers, and support for people with disabilities in Afghanistan.
According to him, the ICRC praised the efforts of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in meeting the needs of people with disabilities and hundreds of thousands of returnees.
Sohail Shaheen, the head of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s political office in Doha, appreciated ICRC for its support to vulnerable Afghans over the past several decades in the country.
