KABUL, Nov 12 (Asia Free Press): An explosion hit a mosque in the Achin district of Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan during Friday prayers, killing at least three persons wounding fifteen others including the local cleric, reported Reuters.

As per the accounts of the residents of the area, said the blast occurred at around 1:30 p.m. when explosives apparently located in the interior of the mosque detonated.

Confirming the attack in a statement, the Taliban government spokesman for Nangarhar Province Qari Hanif told press that ostensibly, a bomb was planted at a mosque during the Friday congregational prayer.
