KABUL (BNA) The country’s Deputy Minister of National Defense, in a meeting with the special representative of Japan, thanked Japan for supporting Afghanistan in this difficult situation.
Deputy National Defense Minister, Mawlavi Mohammad Zarif Muzafar, met with Japan’s special envoy for Afghanistan, Kansuke Nagaoka, and Japanese ambassador Takashi Okada, the ministry said in a statement.
Deputy Muzafar, hailed Japan’s support and cooperation with the People of Afghanistan, mainly in providing humanitarian aid.
Meanwhile, the Japanese delegation praised the functions of the Islamic Emirate in terms of maintaining security, fighting against drugs, and removing administrative corruption.
Further, both sides discussed strengthening and continuing friendly relations and other interesting issues, according to the ministry.
