KABUL(BNA): A factory in Balkh has manufactured two new car models with an investment of 6 million Afghanis, according to local officials.

Habibullah Barakzai, the head of Amin Noor Company in Balkh, stated that the factory has been producing twelve types of cars and cargo bicycles and, this year, has manufactured two new car models with an investment of 6 million Afghanis.

The factory also produces four types of 24-volt batteries, which are sold across 20 provinces in the country. The new vehicles, which include electric and petrol models, are expected to be introduced to the market soon.

Additionally, the factory has provided direct and indirect employment opportunities for 500 people.
