KABUL(BNA): Nooruddin Azizi, the Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held discussions with Dr. Nanda Awalist, Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Indonesia in Kabul.
During the meeting, Dr. Awalist emphasized the importance of identifying investment opportunities in Afghanistan and expressed Indonesia’s keen interest in expanding trade relations between the two nations.
Minister Azizi pointed out the various investment opportunities available in Afghanistan’s industry, mining, and agriculture sectors. Furthermore, he noted that Indonesia possesses a wealth of raw materials that could be effectively utilized through cooperation between the private sectors of both countries.
In a bid to foster closer ties, Nooruddin Azizi extended an invitation to the Indonesian private sector to visit Afghanistan to explore potential investment opportunities firsthand.
The discussions concluded with both sides agreeing to establish a team dedicated to identifying and promoting investment opportunities, marking a new chapter in Afghanistan-Indonesia trade ties.
