Islamabad, Oct 24, (Asia Free Press):The much-anticipated thriller cricket match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled to take place in Dubai today.

Pakistan will face India in the opening match of the ICC T-20 cricket World Cup at 7:00 p.m. Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

The cricketing world is anticipating the match, which will mark India’s first meeting with Pakistan on a cricket pitch in two years. Millions of people around the world will tune in to watch the World Cup match between the two arch-rivals.

Pakistan have lost all seven World Cup (50 overs) encounters with India, as well as five Twenty20 World Cup games, and will enter the tournament as “underdogs.”

Manoj Tiwary, an Indian cricketer, stated ahead of that match that while Pakistan’s team appears to be quite strong, he is optimistic that India will win.

“India has a favourable record with Pakistan. Our batting is strong, and India’s bowling has improved significantly since the arrival of Bumrah. Due to the fact that he is the bowling’s undisputed leader. I have a feeling Pakistan’s team looks a little stronger this time around, but I’m hoping India wins “ANI, a local news organisation, reported.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan, wished the team luck ahead of their high-stakes clash with India. The prime minister made the statement while speaking with his aides about cricket. “This team possesses the talent necessary to overcome India,” he stated.

Babar Azam, Pakistan’s captain, warned India on Thursday that the national team will not be distracted by Pakistan’s previous performances when they face India on Sunday. He also asserted that the records are made to be broken.
