KABUL (BNA): In a recent interview with the Russian Sputnik News Agency, China\u2019s special envoy for Afghanistan, Yue Xiaoyong, emphasized that no reason should justify interference in Afghanistan\u2019s internal affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He asserted that Afghanistan should be allowed to pursue an independent internal policy according to its national conditions and that no external factors should disrupt the sovereignty of an independent nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yue Xiaoyong stressed, \u201cI believe that the key to solving Afghanistan\u2019s problems is constructive international cooperation and a region without foreign interference, and this is the main point.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further suggested that the international community should engage with Kabul in a neutral and respectful manner, sharing governance experiences and supporting Afghanistan in choosing a modernization path that suits its national conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regarding China\u2019s infrastructure projects in Afghanistan, Yue Xiaoyong confirmed their commitment to the renovation of the Wakhan Corridor in Badakhshan as part of the revival of the Great Silk Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
