{"id":2610,"date":"2021-11-29T20:03:07","date_gmt":"2021-11-29T15:03:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.asiafreepress.com\/?p=2610"},"modified":"2021-11-29T20:03:09","modified_gmt":"2021-11-29T15:03:09","slug":"kashmir-47-government-employees-to-be-sacked-by-modi-led-bjp-government-on-concocted-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.asiafreepress.com\/en_gb\/law\/kashmir-47-government-employees-to-be-sacked-by-modi-led-bjp-government-on-concocted-charges\/","title":{"rendered":"Kashmir: 47 government employees to be sacked by Modi-led BJP government on concocted charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The employees would be fired under Article 311 of the Indian Constitution, which requires no official inquiry before termination of services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Srinagar, Nov 29 (Asia Free Press): In the Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is preparing to dismiss at least 47 Kashmiri government employees on fabricated allegations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At least 28 people have been identified for immediate termination from their government jobs, while another 19 have been placed in the non-performing category and are likely to face termination in the near future, reported local media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The majority of these employees are from the Kashmir valley, although a few hail from districts in the Jammu region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far 24 government employees sacked under Article 311(2) (c) of the\u00a0Constitution of India\u00a0post abrogation of semi autonomous status of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, political analysts have denounced the Modi government&#8217;s harsh actions, claiming that New Delhi is killing Kashmiri youth under the guise of &#8220;over-ground workers&#8221; while firing government employees from their jobs by dubbing them as supporters of the ongoing resistance movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They noted that the purge is intended to replace local employees with Indian nationals affiliated with Hindu extremist organisations in order to achieve the Modi government&#8217;s demographic change plan in the occupied region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the amended Article 311 of the Indian Constitution, no investigation of the accused is required. This remedy was suggested by a special committee designated for investigating such incidents.
