ISLAMABAD, Oct. 23, (Asia Free Press): Pakistani Premier Imran Khan departed for Saudi Arabia on Saturday on a three-day visit, at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, reported state-run media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Khan would attend the inaugural ceremony of the \u201cMiddle East Green Initiative (MGI) Summit\u201d held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGreen Saudi Arabia\u201d and \u201cGreen Middle East\u201d initiatives, first of their kind in the Middle East Region, were launched by the Crown Prince in March 2021, aiming at protecting the nature and planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Energy Minister Hammad Azhar and Special Assistant on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam Premier will be accompanying Premier Imran Khan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The prime minister is supposed to share his perspective on the challenges faced by developing countries due to climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He will also highlight Pakistan\u2019s experience of launching nature-based solutions to address environmental challenges, including the 10 Billion Tree Tsunami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
