{"id":1178,"date":"2021-10-01T07:53:41","date_gmt":"2021-10-01T07:53:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.asiafreepress.com\/?p=1178"},"modified":"2021-10-01T15:08:43","modified_gmt":"2021-10-01T15:08:43","slug":"terrorism-major-threat-to-pakistans-stability-dr-moeed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.asiafreepress.com\/en_gb\/asia\/paksitan\/terrorism-major-threat-to-pakistans-stability-dr-moeed\/","title":{"rendered":"Terrorism major threat to Pakistan\u2019s stability: Dr Moeed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, Oct 1 (APP): National Security Adviser (NSA) Dr Moeed Yusuf on Thursday said terrorism was a major threat to Pakistan\u2019s stability, as Post-9\/11 policies in Afghanistan had led to terrorism in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The NSA was addressing the special session of the Islamabad Security Dialogue held here at NUST University on the situation in Afghanistan, said a media release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>NSA Dr Moeed Yusuf during his address presented a historical perspective on Afghanistan issue.<br>He underscored that the world should learn from the mistakes of the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u201cPakistan has always strived for peace and stability in Afghanistan and there are no two opinions on this,\u201d Dr Moeed Yusuf said.
