TASHKENT : The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Shanghai initiated a presentation of the country\u2019s investment and export potential, which took place in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The forum was attended by representatives of more than 70 leading Chinese companies, as well as Hu Haifeng, Director of the Ningbo Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, who highlighted the dynamic development of Uzbekistan\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He noted that the country has established a favorable investment climate and operates free economic zones. He also expressed readiness to support Chinese companies\u2019 participation in projects in the fields of green energy and smart cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants were presented with Uzbekistan\u2019s key advantages, including developed infrastructure, investment projects, government support measures for export activities, as well as the \u201cGSP+\u201d system, which allows for duty-free product supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the meeting, agreements were reached to organize business missions of Chinese entrepreneurs to Uzbekistan\u2019s regions and to facilitate the implementation of joint investment projects.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
